2010 – 2011
- Good Thunder Reading Series, Thursday, September 9, 7:30 p.m., Mankato State University. My good friend Diana Joseph and my non-married domestic partner Geoff Herbach will both be reading new work (after giving afternoon craft talks). I'll be there to support both these pretties.
- Minneapolis Project 2010, Thursday September 30th, 7 p.m., Riverview Theater, Minneapolis. 25 short films about Minneapolis by 18 local filmmakers provide a cinematic portrait of the city—and include the debut of the animated version of Urban Agrarian Woman (a PowderKeg Live! character/sketch I created). Presented by Cinema Revolution Society and IFP Media Arts.
- Minneapolis Underground Film Festival, Friday, December 3, 2010. 8:30 p.m. at MCAD (Minneapolis College of Art and Design). They'll be showing Urban Agrarian Woman (the animated sketch) again, as well as the other films from the Minneapolis Project 2010. (Click for tix.)
- Final Reading, Creative Writing: Fiction, Tuesday, December 7, at St. Cloud State University. My students in my Fiction class will read their work out loud (and many of them for the first time) as our class winds down. Wish them good vibes, and tell them it is not okay to imagine their instructor naked as a way to alleviate nerves.

- Talking Image Connection, Saturday, February 12. Reading/Performance with Lee Henke in response to the art installation "Belongings" by Rosemary Williams at the Soap Factory.
- Tales from the Poorhouse debuts, Thursday, February 17, 89.7 KMSU, Mankato Public Radio. I've contributed story and songs (written with Chris Koza and Linnea Mohn).
- Green Bay Film Festival, February 25 – 27. They'll be showing Urban Agrarian Woman (the animated sketch).
- Pretend the World reading, Saturday, March 19. Loft Literary Center. I'll be reading two poems to celebrate Kate Kysar's new collection, along with several other notable Minnesota writers, including Ed Bok Lee, Wang Ping, Sheila O'Connor, Kris Bigalk….
- Salon Saloon: The Games Show with Andy Sturdevant, Tuesday, March 22. Bryant Lake Bowl. I'll presenting on "Games" as invented by my own children, including Baby Ewok. I will also be singing "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers, but not alone.
- Rogue Valley: Winter show, Friday, April 1. Varsity Theater. Geoff Herbach and I will be reprising our Rogue Valley: Spring roles as letter-writing lovers crossing paths, and all in response to the album's music.
