For many years I was one of the creative producers/writers/performers behind the wildly popular, fabulously innovative Electric Arc Radio Show. Graydon Royce of the Star-Tribune said of it, “Finally someone has succeed in marrying literature with rock ‘n’ roll.” Thousands of fans in Minneapolis, Chicago, and New York enjoyed more than 30 original live, scripted episode-events. Thousands more listened in on podcasts and Minnesota Public Radio.
Similar shows have since mixed live literary humor with all-original music and narrative arc, and performed by a cast of more than 12.
Oh wait. No. That’s not happened.
Nothing like Electric Arc Radio has ever been attempted again.
