I was the creator | editor of the award-winning JuiceBox e-newsletter for parents from Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. It was “good stuff for families on the go,” and in 2013 it was voted best in its class by the Minnesota Magazine and Publishers Association. In 2014 it won a national Nichee award. In 2016 it was a finalist for the national City and Regional Magazine Association award for e-newsletter. A reader and an advertiser favorite, it had a remarkably high open rate, plus a book club extension specifically for moms: The Mother of All Book Clubs. Moms in the club read a book, then attended a special, small-group event with the author (often before a larger public reading) at Barnes & Noble, Edina. As an extension of my relationship with Barnes & Nobel, Edina, I also did public interviews with bestselling, debut, and generally awesome women authors such as Paula Hawkins (Girl on the Train), Lauren Oliver (Rooms), and Jessie Burton (The Miniaturist).
