VÄXA is a self-directed curriculum that helps college students discover and harness their passions on the way to creating a purposeful life. VÄXA is the Swedish word for “to grow,” and the curriculum is time and space to do just that.
I was on the leadership team that developed the curriculum (funded through a grant). I led the creative process of naming and branding the program. And—with a terrific motion-graphics vendor—I wrote and directed the promotional video, which also serves as the introduction to the program for participants. A dream project because it aligns with my personal values (liberal arts, self-discovery, growth mindset), introduced me to a new skill (curriculum design), and brought me closer to concepts I enjoy exploring (vocation, work-life integration, values identification).
